Save the Wild Animals
Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.
In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.
Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.
保护野生动物
许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。
为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。
我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。
Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Before the SpringFestival People clean their houses，put red couplets on their gates，and set offfirecrackers to drive away the legendary monster “Nian”.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, families get together and have a bigdinner. Dumplings are the most traditional food.
The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives andfriends with the words “Happy new year”. People enjoy the Spring Festival,during this time they can have a good rest.
Children like the festival very much, because they can have delicious foodand wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their elders. This moneyis given to children for good luck.

春节前夕，家人都会团聚在一起享受丰盛的年夜饭。饺子是最传统的食物。
春节大约持续15天。人们都要走亲访友，相互拜年，还要说：“新年快乐，万事如意。”还可以好好休息一段时间。
孩子们更是喜欢过节，因为他们不仅可以吃到美味佳肴、穿上新衣服，还可以得到很多压岁钱。晚辈得到压岁钱就可以平平安安度过一岁。
Mid-Autumn Day comes. It is a traditional Chinese festival. People willjoin together to celebrate this festival. It means union. In the daytime I wentto market with my mother to buy some vegetable, fruit and meat. We also boughtmany mooncakes. Because in the evening the whole family will have suppertogether. When we came back home, I helped my mother to prepare for the supper.I washed the vegatable and fruit. In the evening my family member and relativescame back and we had a rich supper together. The summer vacation had come again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while.
Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation I made a plan as to how to spend it.
First I thought I should go over all the knowledges that my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.
Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise such as running and playing basketbal to keep me physically strong.
It stood to reason that with such a good plan I would make the best of my vacation time.
I did because I lived up to what I had planned.

Education plays a great role in our life. But, real education begins with self education. That is to educate ourselves.
I have had such experience. When I finish reading a good book, which is informative and exciting, I am lost deep in thoughts and enlightened. Something or somebody ordinary in life, once written in books, after careful reading and thinking, will reveal truth and philosophy. When I succeed or fad, get praised or criticized, happy or sad, I can find in books a good mirror to reflect and guide me I cannot but put myself upon thinking,"What was I? What will I he?" At this time, my mind is open and I am my sincere self. I am having a dialogue with myself, with my conscience. Without my knowing it, I am educating myself.
So yocan see by self -education. I mean thinking and contradicting within the mind. In the process of thinking and contradicting I have recollections and appraisal of myself. Then I make decisions aecording]y and keep myself in control of my thoughts and actions in the hope that I better myself in character, behavior, virtue and manner.
Self-education is an effective way to make one noble minded, more able and intelligent and to perfect oneself. If a man keeps receiving education and educating himself, he is sure to be one cut above others.
